WOMADelaide will be held in a new location in 2021 only

Date posted: 02 December 2020

WOMADelaide is going ahead in 2021… in a new location just for 2021.

While we’re devastated we won’t be hosting the many thousands of local, national and international visitors and artists in our beautiful Botanic Park next year, we’re also delighted that the WOMADelaide team are able to present this important event in a 're-imagined' COVID-safe format.

While this is unfortunate news for the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, we look forward to working with the WOMADelaide team to deliver another fantastic WOMAD in Botanic Park in 2022!

2021 provides us with the opportunity to undertake the Botanic Park upgrades funded through the recent state budget announcements supporting the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium. This will ensure we are well and truly ready to host WOMAdelaide in Botanic Park in 2022.

The 2021 edition of WOMADelaide will feature a remarkable selection of Australian headline artists across four sunset concert evenings in a spectacular arena and stage being created in the picturesque King Rodney Park / Ityamai-itpina.
