Celebrate your garden at the ABC Gardeners' Market!

The ABC Adelaide event is co-hosted with the Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide

The market, in its 27th year, is known for its:

  • huge selection of affordable, rare and essential gardening goodies
  • delicious international food
  • family entertainment
  • gardening advice
  • live radio shows
  • free ABC studio tours. Tours of the ABC start at 9am, arrive early to avoid disappointment.

From 8.30am, join ABC Radio Adelaide Saturday Breakfast presenter Deb Tribe alongside: Jon Lamb with Talkback Gardening, ‘About the House’ with Rose Squire, and the Saturday Quiz.

Money raised at the market will go to the SA Seed Conservation's SEEDS project (Stewardship of Endemic Endangered Species).

This important program works with local students who propagate seeds from local threatened plant species, grow them at their school and then plant them into their local community. Students later collect seeds and teach the following year group how to repeat the process, helping to maintain a living source of the endangered species.
