Join Ian Wilson, Little Sprouts Kitchen Garden educator, as he takes you on a journey through the inner workings of the honey bee hive.
Learn how a honey bee hive works, how it's put together, and how to create your very own welcoming home for honey bees.
Over 1.5 hours, this course will cover:
- The structure of a honey bee hive
- Bee space
- Wiring frames
- Use of foundations
- Locating your hive and bee place
Whilst you're there, take a peek at Anthrocomb, Mike Bianco's installation as part of the 2020 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Monster Theatres.
