Celebrate National Science Week by taking a journey through the vaults of the State Herbarium, the centre for knowledge on South Australia's plants, algae, fungi and lichen.
Located in the heritage-listed Tram Barn, the State Herbarium houses more than one million dried plant specimens. Some of these specimens date back to the first European voyages of Australia and tell a story of our cultural and scientific history.
Join a guided tour of our vaults and discover the role that South Australia plays in plant science, conservation and biodiversity management.
