Mums and Bubs yoga

What: Eight-week yoga program (sessions weekly)

Dates: Monday, 16 October 2023 - Monday, 11 December 2023

Time: 10:00am - 11:00am

Location: Adelaide Botanic Garden, near the Dahlia Garden (G11 on the map)

Tickets: $160 per pair (adult and baby) for eight-week program.

Who: This event is appropriate for adults and their baby six weeks to 18 months. All babies must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver at all times.

Connect with your baby in this guided yoga class surrounded by nature.

Join an experienced yoga teacher from Generation Yogi as you are guided through a gentle sequence of targeted yoga poses to strengthen your body and relieve tension.

Combining the principles of yoga and playgroup, the Mums 'n' Bubs classes offer a safe, welcoming, judgement free space to engage both you and your baby with lots of playful songs and poses.

Your teacher will introduce the 8 limbs of yoga and how they can be applied to the the journey of motherhood and guide you through a gentle sequence of poses targeted at assisting your recovery in the first 3 years after birth.

Focusing on improving your pelvic floor and core abdominal strength while relieving tension in your back, hips and shoulders.

Some weeks you may wish to focus on strength or balance, other weeks you may be happy to get out of the house and enjoy the natural surroundings while while you sit and relax with your baby as we share experiences.

There are no expectations. These classes are designed to hold a space for hard-working Mums raising children, to simply come and be.

Please bring a small blanket or pillow for your baby to ensure their comfort.

No prior yoga experience needed.

Mats provided.

This yoga class will take place in a quiet spot in the Garden, under the shade of trees.
