Volunteer opportunities with the Friends

There are a range of volunteer opportunities with the Friends, and by joining, you are becoming part of a great community, supporting the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of SA.

Garden Guides

Following a bespoke training program, Garden Guides take visitors on guided walks through Adelaide, Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens, and Botanic Park. Taking place daily at the Adelaide garden, and weekly at the other gardens, these are a valuable experience for visitors who get taken to spots in the Garden that are of seasonal interest and gain fascinating insights into the plants, buildings and stories of the Garden.
