Wildlife

From larger mammals like kangaroos and koalas to smaller creatures like bandicoots and birds, there is an abundance of wildlife in the Garden's rich habitat.

Listen for the mating call of the native Bronze Wing Pigeon in spring, the kookaburra's laugh, and the banjo frogs singing loudly in the duckpond in summer.

Sit and wait a while to look for butterflies, dragonflies, native bees and other insects. Can you spot a tawny frogmouth bird camoflauged in the trees?
