Volunteer

Visitor Engagement offers volunteers the opportunity to engage visitors and explore the Garden's living collection, the cultural collections in the Museum of Economic Botany, and supporting temporary exhibitions and events.

Our Visitor Information Centre, Museum of Economic Botany and Events volunteer attendants:

• Greet visiting members of the public, assist with wayfinding and answer visitor inquiries about the Gardens, the Museum, its collection and the temporary exhibitions to the best of their knowledge.
• Record visitor numbers, help with visitor feedback and surveys, and support sales of exhibition catalogues, publications, and other products.
• Have the option to develop and present guided tours of the Museum's collection and temporary exhibitions.
• Support events, exhibition openings, talks and workshops.

We invite you to please register your interest online and book to attend a New Volunteer Information Session. 

Please note that we may be at capacity for some volunteer roles and information sessions may not currently be scheduled. We encourage you to still apply, you be added to the waiting list and we will contact you at the time when new positions become available and New Volunteer Information Sessions are scheduled.
