Curious about what happens inside the South Australian Seed Conservation Centre?

Take a seed-sized peek inside the South Australia Seed Conservation Centre on this short, guided tour.

Explore the laboratories where this dedicated team works to safeguard South Australia's rare and threatened plant species.

Get a glimpse inside the Seed Bank, home to collections representing over 2000 species and 85% of the state's threatened flora.

Understand how these seeds are stored and used to support conservation and recovery work.

After the tour, we encourage you to visit the on-site Threatened Plant Seed Orchard, which showcases the tireless conservation efforts of the Seed Centre staff, volunteers and partner organisations.

Please note this talk is intended for adults; we recommend it is suitable for ages 10 and up.
