Step into Climate-Smart Gardening this Adelaide Climate Action Week!

Discover how beauty and resilience can thrive side by side in Adelaide Botanic Garden's Mediterranean Garden Tour, a special experience to inspire the way we garden for the future.

Be guided by Dr Leonie Scriven, Deputy Director Living Collections, Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium on this tour to uncover how the garden was created and practical ideas and design principles to help you:

  • Garden for the future
  • Build biodiversity and habitat
  • Garden as a community

As our climate continues to shift toward hotter, drier conditions, the Mediterranean Style Garden offers both inspiration and real-world solutions. Whether you're a keen gardener or just starting out, you’ll leave with simple, achievable ways to cultivate a garden that is waterwise, climate-ready, full of birds and wildlife, and bountiful through the seasons.

Join us this Adelaide Climate Action Week and reimagine what your garden can become.
