Led by experienced guides from the Friends of the Botanic Gardens, you will get taken to spots in the Garden that are of seasonal interest and gain fascinating insights into the botanical collections and history of the Garden.
Each guided walk lasts about 1.5 hours and no booking is required (unless in a group of five or more - please see below).
Guided walks at Mount Lofty Botanic Garden depart from the Lower Car Park (entry via Lampert Road) at 10.30am every Thursday.

A small fee for booked guided walks is returned to the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium to help continue its important conservation, education and horticulture programs.
Please note that guided walks are run by our wonderful volunteers. We endeavour to run the tours as advertised, but occasionally there may be unexpected circumstances where we are unable to offer this service. We thank you for your understanding if this occurs.
All guided walks are cancelled on days forecast to reach 36 degrees or more.
Walks are not held on Christmas Day.
