We’re excited to offer schools an opportunity to gaze through the lens of some of the world's best wildlife photographers and marvel at the natural beauty of our planet.
The world-renowned exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, features exceptional images which captures animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breathtaking diversity of the natural world.
Using photography's unique emotive power to engage and inspire audiences, the images shine a light on stories and species around the world and encourage a future of advocating for the planet.
The exhibition focuses on nature photography across several categories and is housed within the lush indoor temperate rainforest of the Bicentennial Conservatory.
Enjoy a fully sustainable, hands-on activity which asks students to create their own Leaf Litter Leaf Critter by arranging gathered leaves, seeds and nuts from some well-known trees around Adelaide Botanic Garden. Encouraging learners to leave no trace, you can photograph your leaf critter and return the materials for others to enjoy.
You can also involve your class in a photography competition that challenges people of all ages to capture the beauty of the Botanic Gardens. More information can be found here.
Teachers can use their own resources to compliment in-class teaching, or use our self-guided learning resources so your students can explore the exhibition in fun and engaging ways.
