Years 3 - 7

Nature Noticers invites students to slow down, tune in, and experience nature with all their senses.

Through hands‑on exploration and gentle mindful moments, students build curiosity and observation skills while connecting science, creativity, and wellbeing. This session encourages learners to look closely, listen carefully, and notice the often‑overlooked details of their natural surroundings, laying foundations for scientific thinking, environmental awareness, and calm focus.

Students work with natural materials, observe wildlife using specialist tools, and take a guided sensory walk. The experience balances active investigation with moments of stillness, supporting both learning and wellbeing.

Students will:

  • Use touch, sight, smell and sound to observe and explore natural materials
  • Practice scientific thinking by explaining similarities, differences and patterns
