Unveiling student photography at Adelaide Botanic Garden

A group of extremely talented photography students from Brighton Secondary School recently visited Adelaide Botanic Garden tasked with capturing a series of photographs.
The Board of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium (BGSH) Strategic Plan 2023-2027 sets the direction for Adelaide, Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens, the State Herbarium and the South Australian Seed Conservation Centre for the coming five years.
The Plan contains the Board's vision, mission, values and focus areas, and it was developed following an extensive consultation process with the Department for Environment and Water, BGSH staff, Adelaide Botanic Garden Foundation, Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide and key external stakeholders.
The Board's vision is a community that is inspired to contribute to the sustainability of our living world, and understands the vital role of plants, fungi and algae in our ecosystems and to human life.
From 2023-2027, the the Board's overarching strategic focus areas are:
The Plan was endorsed on 19 May 2023 and released to the public on 10 August 2023.
The Strategic Plan guides the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium's annual plan each year.

The Board of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium is very pleased to announce that the Director of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia, Mr Michael Harvey, has been elected as the new Chair of the Council of Heads of Australian Botanic Gardens.
