A group of extremely talented photography students from Brighton Secondary School recently visited Adelaide Botanic Garden tasked with capturing a series of photographs.
PLEASE NOTE: The Corporate Volunteer Program is currently at capacity for 2024. If you would like to enquire about opportunities to volunteer in 2025, please contact us on the details below.
The Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium offer bespoke corporate volunteering opportunities which can be tailored to suit your organisation.
Volunteering opportunities exist at either Adelaide, Mount Lofty or Wittunga Botanic Gardens.
Each Garden displays unique and interesting plant collections for the purposes of scientific research, conservation and education.
Volunteers benefit from working outdoors with diverse and, in some cases endangered plant collections, within the iconic gardens.
They also learn about the conservation and sustainability measures undertaken by the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium to preserve plant species in our changing climate.
Although individuals from organisations are generously volunteering their time, there are costs to the Botanic Gardens associated with the experience.
These costs include administration, preparation of materials and garden equipment, training and an expert horticulturalist who works alongside your volunteers to deliver a memorable and fulfilling experience.
Volunteering opportunities are seasonal and limited, with a maximum of 20 people per group. Activities are suitable for all levels of fitness.
