Join our dedicated team of volunteers and immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of nature, while contributing to the conservation and preservation of precious plant species at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium.
To be eligible to volunteer at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium you'll need to:
- Be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Have a current Working with Children Check (or be willing to undergo a screening).
Museum of Economic Botany
The Santos Museum of Economic Botany offers volunteers the opportunity to engage visitors and explore the valuable cultural collections and temporary art exhibitions within the Museum.
Our education volunteers support programs for school students, children and family groups at the Adelaide Botanic Garden.
Our horticulture volunteers support staff undertaking garden maintenance work in the garden.
