Rare Corpse Flower's bloom brings thousands to Adelaide Botanic Garden

The eyes of the world were on the Adelaide Botanic Garden after a rare and endangered Corpse Flower, aka Titan Arum, flowered for the first time in a decade.

Join the Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide garden guides for an exploration of the flora of India.
Complementing the Art Gallery of South Australia's exhibition 'Realms of Wonder: Jain, Hindu and Islamnic Art of India', the Garden Guides will share with you some of their favourite Indian plants in our collections, including the sacred lotus found in the Nelumbo Pond.
Realms of Wonder is the Art Gallery’s first major exhibition dedicated exclusively to the art of India. It includes more than two hundred paintings, sculptures, textiles and decorative art objects dating from the eighth century to the present day. Many of the works in this exhibition are on display for the first time. Jain art has never before been comprehensively displayed in Australia.
