Have a fun family night at Moonlight Cinema on Friday 10 January and raise money for the Kitchen Garden at Adelaide Botanic Garden at the same time!
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 revisits Inventor Flint Lockwood's as his genius is finally being recognized as he's invited to join The Live Corp Company, where the best and brightest inventors create technologies for the betterment of mankind. Everything changes when he discovers that his most infamous machine, which turns water into food, is still operating and is now creating food-animal hybrids, known as "foodimals".
With the fate of humanity in his hands, Flint and his friends are sent on a dangerously delicious mission, battling hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, apple pie-thons, double bacon cheespiders and other food creatures to save the world again.
It may be a sequel to a computer-animated kids film, but with a voice cast featuring Bill Hader, Anna Farris, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Will Forte, Kristen Schaal and Terry Crews, this movie is sure to be just as full of laughs.
This unique outdoor cinema experience in Botanic Park is a must for families. The fun characters come to life in the amazing setting of Botanic Park and this Moonlight Cinema movie is a wonderful way to celebrate the end of school holidays as a family in a unique way.
All profits on the night will go the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, to support the Kitchen Garden at Adelaide Botanic Garden. Many people, especially children, are losing touch with the natural world and where their food comes from. Our Kitchen Garden will reconnect the community in what will be a social hub of activity. The onsite Kitchen Garden at Adelaide Botanic Garden will educate more than 400,000 people on how to grow, harvest and prepare food that is fresh and delicious, over the three year campaign.
Gates open at 7.00pm, with the movie set to start at around 8.30pm.
General admission ticket prices: Adult $18, Concession $16, Senior $14, Child (5-15 years) $14.
