Rare Corpse Flower's bloom brings thousands to Adelaide Botanic Garden

The eyes of the world were on the Adelaide Botanic Garden after a rare and endangered Corpse Flower, aka Titan Arum, flowered for the first time in a decade.

Two-thirds of Botanic Park - from Hackney Road heading west - will be closed to the public from Monday 3 April at 9am, until dusk on Thursday 13 April while the concert site for Santana is being built and dismantled.
The far western third of Botanic Park remains open to the public during this time.
The bike path also remains open to the public during this time, including on Sunday 9 April, for pedestrian and bike access.
Plane Tree Drive will also remain open during this time, with normal access to those visiting the Zoo, Botanic Garden and Botanic Gardens Restaurant.
Please note there will be a large number of pedestrians walking along Plane Tree Drive from 3pm onwards on Sunday 9 April.
Traffic management will be in place to manage vehicle and pedestrian access, and due to this through traffic is likely to be delayed.
Please avoid driving on Plane Tree Drive unless absolutely necessary. Taxi ranks and drop-off points are on Frome Road for access into the concert.

Stage performance times: Sunday 9 April, 5pm to 10:45pm
