Date posted: 04 July 2018
Demolition of the East Wing, adjacent to the North Terrace Terrance entrance of Adelaide Botanic Garden, is scheduled to take place throughout July and August 2018.
The North Terrace entrance will remain open throughout the works, however, in the interest of public safety, an exclusion zone will be created within Adelaide Botanic Garden during demolition works as an added safety precaution.
A moving physical barrier safety zone will be managed by demolition contractors. Demolition staff will be onsite directing pedestrian traffic safely past the zones. Temporary directional signage will also be in place during this time.
Dust mitigation processes and monitoring will continue to be undertaken to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors.
For all enquiries related to the demolition works, please call the Renewal SA Demolition Enquiries line on 1300 336 678 or email demolition@formerRAH.com.au.
