Delve into the world of propagation at the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide Advanced Plant Propagation Master Class on Sunday, 3 August.

Presented by the Gardens expert propagator, Matt Coulter in the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden Nursery, the class will cover advanced techniques including leaf cuttings, root cuttings, grafting and budding.

Participants will go beyond the basics to discover specific propagation methods for a variety of plant types.

Advanced Plant Propagation is an extension of the Propagation Introduction Master Class held earlier this year, however, anyone can attend” Horticultural Curator, Matt Coulter said.

“This class is perfect for those wanting to learn the more advanced techniques of plant propagation, moving beyond seed propagation and stem cuttings.”

Participants will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes in the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden Nursery where thousands of plants are propagated every year for Adelaide’s three Botanic Gardens.
