Learn how to make a good garden great at the Botanic Gardens of South Australia The Answer Lies in the Soil Master Class on Sunday, 7 September.

Presented by expert gardening presenter, columnist and consultant, Malcolm Campbell the Master Class will cover soil types and textures, water quality, salinity, nutrient buffers, pH and nutrient uptake as well as potting media and caring for potted plants.

Participants will learn about the properties of soil, determine their own soil profile and remedy any deficiencies.

“Great soil is vital to your garden, and no two gardens are the same,” Director of the Botanic Gardens of South Australia, Stephen Forbes said.

“Understanding soil and determining your own soil profile will ensure your garden can thrive.”

Held in Adelaide Botanic Garden the Master Class will include plenty of hands on opportunities for participants.
