Unveiling student photography at Adelaide Botanic Garden
11 July 2024
A group of extremely talented photography students from Brighton Secondary School recently visited Adelaide Botanic Garden tasked with capturing a series of photographs.
Embrace all things small through a range of activities, from a musical adventure to creating your own mini magical garden… and more!
Start your visit by marvelling at a fun-sized model of Adelaide Botanic Garden, which has been shrunk down to teensy trees and a petite Palm House.
The model depicts a scene from 1871 when a pioneering hot air balloon flight set to the skies and a pair of brave trapeze artists performed daredevil tricks to cheering crowds.
Play I-spy as you spot quirky additions such as a bear and kangaroos, and press a button to make the hot air balloon move up and down.
Read more about this cool, free-to-view model here.
Then entertain your kids with these fun activities:
While you’re in the Garden, bring a picnic or head to the café or kiosk, where there’s a kids menu, plenty of ice cream and great coffee!
