Botanic Park closure during WOMADelaide 2019

Please be advised that due to the staging of WOMADelaide in Botanic Park, closures will affect public access to Botanic Park, Plane Tree Drive, Botanic Drive and the bike path through Botanic Park between Monday 25 February and Saturday 16 March 2019. The affected areas are as follows:

Botanic Park: Closed from 25 February - 16 March 2019

Plane Tree Drive, Botanic Drive and Bike Path: Closed from 4 - 13 March 2019

During these times, no vehicle, bike or pedestrian access will be possible.

Pedestrian access to Adelaide Botanic Garden can be gained via:

  • Main and East Gates, North Terrace
  • Goodman Gate, Hackney Road
  • Bicentennial Conservatory Gate via Hackney Road only, and
  • Gingko Gate via Frome Road only

Two of South Australia’s iconic cultural and arts institutions are joining forces in the lead-up to the Australian premiere of the exclusive international glass-art event, Chihuly in the Botanic Garden, opening at Adelaide Botanic Garden in September 2024. Adelaide’s world class Garden and its craft and design icon, JamFactory, have announced a partnership to foster the growth of local glass-art talent.
