Our horticulture volunteers support staff undertaking garden maintenance work in the garden.

Current opportunities available:

Horticultural volunteer

Tasks may include:

  • Supporting Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium horticultural staff undertaking garden maintenance such as weeding, mulching and pruning.
  • Active role in caring for our important plant collections.
  • Working in a team environment
  • Some botanical knowledge is needed, and physical agility is required for some tasks.
