Museum of Economic Botany

The Santos Museum of Economic Botany offers volunteers the opportunity to engage visitors and explore the valuable cultural collections and temporary art exhibitions within the Museum.

Current opportunities available:

Museum of Economic Botany, temporary exhibitions and event volunteer

Tasks may include:

  • Greeting visiting members of the public, assisting with wayfinding and answering visitor inquiries to the best of your knowledge.
  • Record visitor numbers, help with visitor feedback and surveys, and support sales of exhibition catalogues, publications, and other products.
  • Develop and present guided tours of the Museum's collection and temporary art exhibitions.
  • Support exhibition openings, artist talks and workshops.
  • Museum collection care and maintenance.
  • Participate in curatorial and collections projects and research.
