Playing at the Summerhouse and in the Garden surrounds, Party for Two is an interactive performance, designed for children who like to make and do.
The show celebrates imagination and collaboration while also inspiring nature play.
The story begins with Sheldon Hall and her goat friend, Tucker, who are soon to arrive for their annual joint birthday celebrations.
Unfortunately, there is much still to do – there are mud cakes to make, lemonade to be squeezed and bunting to be hung.
Party for Two is about the fun of preparing for a party.
Age Suitability: G (ideal age range: 5 years to 8 years)
Please wear a hat, apply sunscreen, and bring a bottle of water. There are re-fill stations in the Garden.
You may like to picnic before or after the show, and there is a cafe and kiosk in the Garden with a children's menu.
Please wear casual clothes because you could get a bit dirty!
Ticketed parking is available along Plane Tree Drive, off Hackney Road. There is a free tram that stops 100m from the Main Gate on North Terrace (Botanic Gardens Stop), and a Free Bus: City Connector.
